Insect Lore Toys
Insect Lore was founded in California's San Joaquin Valley by Carlos White, an entomologist. He had an idea to create a kit through which people of all ages could witness the metamorphosis of a real, live butterfly. It seemed like a great idea - but the key to its success would be to create a recipe for caterpillar food. This would enable the caterpillars to eat and get enough nutrition to become healthy adult butterflies. How hard could that be?
As the next three long years of trial and error proved, quite hard indeed. Mr. White finally came up with a successful diet for the Painted Lady butterfly caterpillars in 1969. It was then that The Butterfly Garden was born. The concept was simple: butterfly lovers would go into a store and purchase The Butterfly Garden which included a certificate that could be mailed to our "butterfly nursery" in order to receive live caterpillars. The caterpillars would be shipped to the customer in a special jar that included Mr. White's unique caterpillar food. In time, the caterpillars would eat the food, change into chrysalides, and finally emerge as adult butterflies in The Butterfly Garden hatching box. After a few days of observation, the butterflies would be set free - delighting both the customer and the butterflies.
Today, over 30 years later, over 11,000,000 caterpillars have been shipped from Insect Lore's facilities in Shafter, California and Milton Keynes, England. Today, Insect Lore USA makes available The Butterfly Celebration - a specially designed butterfly releasing set for weddings and other special occasions. Now, in addition to butterfly kits, Insect Lore offers ants, ladybugs, silkworms and worms, frogs, and other living science experiments.

Thomas & Friends Toys
Thomas and Friends is a British children's television series, first broadcast on the ITV network in September 1984. Until Series 7, which aired in 2003, it was named Thomas the Tank Engine and Friends. This series was shot on 35mm film. The first 12 Series were filmed at Shepperton Studios.
It is based on The Railway Series of books by the Reverend W. V. Awdry. These books deal with the adventures of a group of anthropomorphised trains and road vehicles who live on the fictional Island of Sodor. The books were based on stories Awdry told to entertain his son Christopher during his recovery from measles. Many of the stories are based on events from Awdry's personal experience.
A wide range of merchandise has been manufactured to cash-in on the success of the TV Series Thomas the Tank Engine and Friends. It is down to the popularity and longevity of the series – having originated in 1945 with the first of The Railway Series books by the Rev. W. Awdry – that large numbers of manufacturers have sought to produce 'Thomas'-top toy branded items.
The most popular and wide-ranging items of merchandise are the models of the characters, which have been produced in many different ranges, some including accompanying railway systems. Other popular products include videos, books and magazines, and computer games. However, 'Thomas' merchandise has also included such diverse items as: audiobooks, annuals, colouring and activity books, jigsaws, board games, stationery, photo notebooks, clothing, cutlery, household items such as curtains, duvet covers and lampshades, and even soft drinks and spaghetti shapes.

Noodlehead's Pawparazzi Pets Toys
Pawparazzi is a line of collectible, miniature plush toys manufactured by Noodle Head, Inc. The toys are similar to other plush toys; however each pet has a celebrity personality promoted in a gossip magazine and on an interactive website dedicated to the pets. Each pet comes with a purse designed to mimic the celebrity trend of carrying pets in purse-style pet carriers. The toys have been compared to Webkinz and Beanie Babies due to collectibility and retirement of pets over time.
TY Inc/Beanie Babies Toys
The Beanie Babies value has increased tremendously over the years. Beanie Baby Collectors follow the trends in Beanie Baby Prices and Values closely. A Beanie Baby is a stuffed animal, made by Ty Warner Inc., which was later renamed as Ty Inc. in late 1993. Each toy has an inner "posable lining" and is stuffed with plastic pellets (or "beans") rather than conventional stuffing, giving Beanie Babies a flexible feel. The original nine Beanie Babies launched in 1993 were Legs the Frog, Squealer the Pig, Spot the Dog, Flash the Dolphin, Splash the Whale, Chocolate the Moose, Patti the Platypus, Brownie the Bear (later renamed "Cubbie"), and Punchers the Lobster (later renamed "Pinchers"). The line became a phenomenon in the late 90s when Beanie Babies became both a fad and a collectible. Ty, Inc. stopped producing the product in 1999; but consumer demand led them to reconsider. In 2000, a Beanie Baby named "The Beginning" was introduced to remind people of Beanie Babies' comeback. Teenie Beanies, an offshoot of the Beanie Babies line, were made by additional manufacturers for a few McDonalds Happy Meal promotions. They are not new Beanie Babies, but Beanie Babies in a smaller size.
