The storybook comes with one animated story that has 15 pages and two modes. One mode will have the device read to the child while the other mode allows them to interact. Kids will be able to learn reading for comprehension, meaning, spelling and keywords.

The game player comes preloaded with one classic style arcade game that has three levels and teaches counting, numbers and sequencing. The music player is preloaded with one learning song and it is compatible with WMA and MP3 file formats. The Art studio has stampers, bucket fills, backgrounds, pen styles, erase button, colors and it has background music so that the kids are able to listen to their favorite songs as they create their artistic masterpieces.

The notebook will allow children to trace lowercase and uppercase letters and numbers one through 20. The photo album is really unique as it comes preloaded with three sample pictures. Kids can then transfer their own additional photos from their computer. They can also draw their own photo images so that they can customize them.

With the Fisher-Price iXL Learning System, children are able to create their own login name so that they can have personalized play. The device is PC and Mac compatible and comes with a USB cord that will connect to your computer. It also comes with a CD that is a media management software so that users are able to add their own photos and songs. It's a handheld device with a 3.5 inch color screen, action button, built-in speaker, headphone jack, SD memory card slot, tethered stylus and built-in memory.
