Christian Christmas Music

Many people forget the true message of Christmas and there is nothing like a few classic Christian Christmas music songs to jog their memory and set the mood. If you're struggling to find any suitable songs then here are some ideas.

Chris TomlinChris Tomlin

Chris is one of the world's leading Christian music artists. He had a great 2009 and is set to release a new album later this year. You can already hear his latest single which is called "I Will Follow". Personally I think it's great and if you play it at Christmas then you are sure to find some friends singing along to it automatically.

Avalon - Light A CandleAvalon - Light A Candle

This is a contemporary song but is one of Avalon's best tracks. Considering that they have had over twenty number one hits already, this is quite a compliment.

The message in the song is really inspiring but also humble. It helps people to remember those who are needier and have less than us.

"We Are The Reason" is another great track from Avalon that I highly recommend.

Casting Crowns - Christian RockCasting Crowns - Christian Rock

For the younger members of your family, Casting Crowns play some great Christian Rock. Heck, even the older generation like this band. So long as the message is a good, Christian one, then there is no reason not to listen to a song like this at Christmas, even if you don't particularly like rock music.

Although their last studio album was "Until The Whole World Hears", I personally prefer their 2008 album entitled "Peace On Earth". These are covers of classics but with a modern twist that goes down well.

Traditional Christian MusicTraditional Christian Music

There are plenty of classic songs and hymns that everyone should play at Christmas. They are far too numerous to mention all of them but no Christmas collection should be without the following: "O Come All Ye Faithful", "Away In A Manger", "Silent Night", "Joy To The World" and "O Little Town Of Bethlehem".

asdfThe Gift by Susan Boyle

The Gift, sees Susan Boyle and world acclaimed producer Steve Mac reunited to present a breathtaking seasonal album. Featuring yule time favourites 'The First Noel' and 'O Holy Night', Susan also fearlessly takes on iconic pop songs including 'Don't Dream It's Over' and 'Perfect Day' giving them a new identity. Also making her musical debut on The Gift is American medic and winner of the International Susan Search, Amber Stassi. Amber & Susan perform a stunning and inimitable rendition of 'Do you Hear What I Hear'.
